Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.030". Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.

On initial set up and use of just few days I love this little light bar I'm 74 and I set this up in less than 10 min. Playing with Govee App took about same time for basic functions. The backlighting is great and now my room is lighted during night when I sleepwalk to bathroom. I'll decide later if I want to use adhesive pads. Currently it just sits on TV stand behind TV. All in all it's great! I would definitely buy again and highly recommend. Colors in photos are actually less bright in my room. The Govee App allows many many color variations. This is an excellent addition to a TV backlight. If you go into the GOVEE app you can sync this device to a TV backlight with a camera. You can add up to five lights. I recommend this for either a TV backlight or general ambience in the room at night. UPDATE 2025: I actually have 4 of these. 3 of them I synced with the TV strip light/camera using the GOVEE app for TV watching. The 4th one I use is on ambience lamp. Good, but missing white (ww) hues hurt performance

I bought these lights just a little over a year ago, and overall I’m pleased with them. I bought them because standard strip lighting does not work well with the shape of my ultra flat TV, something I did not consider on purchasing the TV. The lighting effects that these can produce are really impressive, at times you can see what appears to be the individual LEDs and the effects are somewhat more granular or pixelated than other lights from GOVEE. The issue I have with these lights is that they are not able to produce cool, white and warm white, and they do not render colors like other bulbs from GOVEE. Colors on these lights tend to be brighter than every other light source I have from Govee, including their lightbulbs and their floor lamps. Although I knew about the white rendering, I did not realize how annoying it would be to see warm, white and cool, white rendered poorly on these TV lights. If you want to truly seamless and integrated looking product, I suggest you look elsewhere as these aren’t quite there. If you don’t care or are using these in a room where you don’t have any other light sources from Govee, then go for it — you’ll love them.
