This is a very special version of our wonderful ‘Pop Spots’ pattern and knit by Loopette, Valerie Mamo. A fabulous kit with three different and very beautiful yarns hand-dyed especially for this Loop kit by La Bien Aimee, Qing Fibres and The Uncommon Thread, based on a knit by Loopette, Valerie Mamo. With its’ modified lace border it astonished us with its rich and stunning colours.
We’re sure you will find it a great knit.
This is a crescent-shaped shawl with pop-out spots. Only one colour is worked at a time, stitches are then dropped to create the spots and texture for a stunning and super easy polka dot shawl.
We have put together this kit to include
1 full skein each of:
* The Uncommon Thread BFL singles in the colour ‘Space Oddity,100% Wool BFL,437 yards(400 meters),100 grams (3.53 ounces)
* Qing Merino singles in the colour ‘Denim’,100% Superwash Merino Wool,366 meters (400 yds),100g (3.53.ounces)
* La Bien Aimée Merino Singles in ‘Grellow’ for the edging ,100% Wool - Merino,400 yards(366meters),100 grams (3.53 ounces)
* The Loop printed pattern and a Loop cotton shopper bag!
Recommended needle size : US 5 - 3.75 mm
NOTE:
This pattern has been revised to be knit specifically for the yarn supplied in the kit in this new version. So it is one size (larger version of 'Pop Spots') and has a slightly tweaked lace border edge.
All of this is written and explained clearly in the printed pattern that you will receive with your yarn.
