Unlock the future with this insightful exploration by Raphael Kaplinsky, a renowned development policy analyst. This brand new book, published by John Wiley & Sons in 2021, delves into the pressing challenges of our time, including economic downturns, rising inequality, and environmental crises that threaten the fabric of our society. With 264 pages of comprehensive analysis, Kaplinsky argues that while we face significant sustainability crises, the path forward is not devoid of hope. He examines how historical technological paradigms, like the current Mass Production framework, have faced crises and transitions through time. By understanding these patterns, we can actively engage in initiating a shift towards sustainable economies and social equity. This book provides a holistic agenda for various stakeholders aiming to forge a prosperous, equitable, and environmentally sustainable future. Perfect for policymakers, students, and anyone passionate about driving change, this essential read will empower you to embrace the evolution towards a sustainable world. Description:

Long before the pandemic, economies across the world were in trouble, with growth slowing across the board. This downturn coincided with growing inequality and social exclusion. Rising political dissatisfaction with ruling elites fuelled the rise of populism. Add to this the alarming environmental emergency and few can deny we live in a time of multiple sustainability crises.

While this conclusion can lead to despair, in this broad-ranging book Raphael Kaplinsky, a leading development policy analyst, argues that the future is not necessarily bleak. Interrogating the causes and nature of the systemic crises we are living through, he shows how the challenges which we now face mirror previous historical epochs, in which dominant ˜techno-economic™ paradigms flourish, mature and run into crisis. In each case, decisive action is required to move to a more economically and socially sustainable world. In our time, we are witnessing the exhaustion of the Mass Production paradigm. How we herald and manage the transition to the next paradigm “ that of Information and Communications Technologies “ will determine our capacity to build a more prosperous, equitable and environmentally sustainable world. This book sets out an integrated agenda for action by multiple stakeholders to achieve this end.

Clean baby products that work well! So far we’ve loved everything Tubby Todd! It’s on the more expensive side, but totally worth it when considering products used on babies.

Fantastic natural ingredients, but the diaper cream falls short on actual rashes.
Scent: Lavender Rosemary - Standard Size
I purchased the Tubby Todd Baby Skin Care Bundle because I really value that it uses great all-natural ingredients and is free of harsh chemicals. For the most part, I’ve been very happy with the quality. What I loved: The Ingredients: It feels great using products that are clean and safe for baby skin. Hair + Body Wash: The soap/shampoo combo is gentle and works well. All Over Ointment: This is a staple; it’s excellent for dry skin and general moisturizing. The downside: I had to dock one star specifically for the Diaper Paste. While I wanted to love it, it just didn't help when my baby had an actual diaper rash. It might be fine for prevention, but it wasn't effective for treatment. I eventually switched to A+D Diaper Rash Cream, and it completely cured the rashes in no time. Verdict: I would still recommend this bundle for the shampoo and the All Over Ointment, but I suggest keeping a tube of A+D on hand for when you need heavy-duty rash relief.

WILL USE NOTHING ELSE
Scent: Fragrance-Free - Standard Size
Cannot recommend these products enough. My girls have sensitive skin and eczema. Dry patches, gone after a day with the everyday ointment. Eczema break out, gone the next day after applying twice. Diaper cream is the only cream I use when the diaper rash is bad and nothing else works. I try to use sparingly as it is more on the pricier side, so use only when I see a rash starting and not everyday use, but easily could if not worried about the price point. The soap is the only soap we have used. Last a long time, I have twin girls and we just finished our first container of soap that lasted us 5 months.

Great sunscreen, easy to use and absorbs well
I would recommend this product because it's super easy to apply and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. The SPF 50 gives good sun protection, and it feels lightweight on my face. Plus, it's hydrating thanks to the hyaluronic acid. Definitely a good choice for daily use, and I like that it doesn't clog pores.
