The Death By Audio Photo Modulator is a light-controlled expression controller that allows you to manipulate expression-enabled effects with any light source. All you need to do is plug this compact, right-angle device into a ¼" expression control connection, fire up a bright light like a strobe, flashlight, stage light, or any ol' light you like onto the sensor to sweep your expression parameter in one direction or the other. Just like any other expression controller, the light sensor works on a spectrum with a bright light working the "toe down" position and darkness working the "heel down" position. The Photo Modulator requires no batteries to work.
