Ryobi Guide Rail Protection Caps

Feature Overview

The original Tool Theory guide rail protection caps. Our protection caps will help protect the edges of the tracks and ensure that other things do not snag on the sharp corners. This is a must have item for storing and transporting guide rails safely. Replacing a guide rail is expensive.

  • Protects the ends of the rails from snagging on clothing or bumping into things
  • Snug friction fit that can be installed or removed in seconds
  • Helps by keeping the ends of the splinter guard snug to the rail
  • Made out of a strong HTPLA plastic

Protection

Our guild rail protection caps provide many protection benefits.

The harsh and sharp edges of guide rails are inconvenient, and they can catch on many things such as clothing or ribbed hoses. Using our protection caps, you will prevent the guide rail from snagging on you (or other things you don’t want them catching on). It will also help protect the guide rail from random bumps from your tools or workpiece.

Guide rails can be expensive, so protecting them is crucial for prolonging their life. The cost of the protection caps is much cheaper than having to replace a guide rail with bent edges.

Splinter Guard Support

All modern guide rails come with a splinter guard attached to the edge to help with tear out. Sometimes the adhesion can sometimes come off on the ends of the rail. Our guide rail protection caps will help keep the splinter guard snug to the rail and reduce movement.

Hose Deflection

Our protection caps will help mildly with hose deflection, but they are not designed to fully prevent the snagging of hoses on the end of the guide rail. If you're looking to specifically prevent hoses from snagging on the guide rail, then look at our options for hose deflectors.

Storage

The protection caps make a great addition for safely storing the guide rails, whether you're on the move or you're storing them on the wall. They easily fit onto the guide rail without needing any tools with a friction fit.

Made in USA

These are designed, made and quality control inspected in the USA. The plastic is sourced from USA based company, supporting other American manufacturers.

Good manners book
Format: Paperback
Good anecdotes and lessons in this book. I wanted to get a book to read to my 4 year old. This book keeps her attention and she likes it. This book talks about many subjects: Proper etiquette for please, thank you, your welcome, being a good guest, helping out with parents, friends, teachers and neighbors, etc. It feels a little long and a lot foing on with each page, but overall a good quality book. Would buy again.

Fun Lessons
Format: Paperback
You can never go wrong with reading a Richard Scarry book. This book teaches manners to young children very well. My young granddaughter has started speaking in complete sentences, and she is using please and thank you. This book is a good introduction for using these words.

Fun way to learn good behavior!
Format: Paperback
Good value for the price, you get 7 short stories with this book & the illustrations are very well done. If your child's attention span can't handle the entire book you can still manage a few. Lots of funny action pictures to hold their interest, my 4 1/2 yr old son flips through the book on his own just to look at the pictures and they are descriptive enough to follow the story without reading the words. It's a favorite book to listen to because he is of age to get in trouble and to be held accountable, so he likes to see that he is not the only one. His favorite story is Pig Will and Pig Won't. Hint: Say "I won't" with an angry piggy snort! This cracks kids up, they will anticipate the words and snort along with you "I won't"! Sometimes works to change a defiant or lazy mood when I ask him to do something, I will ask "is my D. a pig will or pig won't today?".. helps to snort a little! Can't overuse it though..

too advanced for 18month old, but great book!
Format: Paperback
I love Richard Scarry! I bought this book for my 18 month old, who we are trying to teach to say please and thank you. Unfortunately this book is just way too advanced for her. It's full on stories rather than short pieces. I know, the suggested age was older but that is true for a lot of books that really can be enjoyed by younger tots. This one will be put away for at least another 6 months, and then kept on the shelf of "appropriate" but not in her board book box. However, I really like that she can now say "Lowly" :) Richard Scarry is one of my favorite authors/illustrators from childhood and I'm glad to have this book. It just is beyond the reach of my LO at this age.
