Indigo tie-dyed hat.A easy to pull on, slouchy style hat, mottle dyed in indigo. 2 sizes available and knit to order Medium adult measures 10" long (with turn up). Circumference measures 14" unstretched, up to 22" stretched. Large adult measures 11" long (with turn up), 15"unstretched, up to 24" (stretched) circumference . Knitted by me in rural Lincolnshire on my vintage hand powered knitting machine in a beautiful soft but 'sheepy', worsted spun 100% British wool.

A easy to pull on, slouchy style hat, mottle-dyed in indigo.

2 sizes available and knit to order-

Medium adult - measures 10" long (with turn up). Circumference measures 14" unstretched, up to 22" stretched.

Large adult measures 11" long (with turn up), 15"unstretched, up to 24" (stretched) circumference .

Knitted by me in rural Lincolnshire on my vintage hand-powered knitting machine in a beautiful soft but 'sheepy', worsted spun 100% British wool.  After knitting, linking and hand-finishing, the hat is mottle-dyed in indigo. The method of dyeing is the same, but each  hat is totally unique!   

The indigo I have used is grown by Bailiwick Blue on Guernsey. Due to the nature of the dyeing there maybe a variation in the shade of blue.  

100% British wool, a blend of Bluefaced Leicester and Masham wool, reared and spun within 50 miles of the Yorkshire mill.

I have 2 available now in each size, but will knit to order. Lead time - 4 weeks, but I will try to get it to you sooner if I can!

Just Spectacular

I just read seven issues in one sitting and turned to my husband and told him I was sad because I just read an amazing new comic but I finished it and now I have to wait for more. This story is hard to explain, or stick in any particular comic niche. There's hitmen, vampires, ghosts, teenagers performing Sweeney Todd as their school play, apocalyptic dilemmas, addiction, redemption and a talking mole. Just wow. The art is really crisp, colorful and clean. If you liked Middlewest, I think you'll love this. Looking forward to more from these creators.

Great characters, great art, too many loose ends

I want to love it; it has great art and realistic characters in a interesting setting, but even by the end of the first volume I was left with nothing but questions. I feel like nothing ever got explained and it took away from the quality of the comic. I'm sure if I continue reading I will get the answers I want, but it feels like the pacing of the story is just a little off. Still a stellar comic.

Can't get past the art

I bought this book blind, knowing nothing about the creators and with no expectations. While I thought the story was interesting and generally well-executed, sometimes the intrusion of the writer's thoughts, the attempts to break the fourth wall, and the wink-wink, nudge-nudge gags at the fans grow tiresome. But the writing is the strength compared to the art, which in my opinion is poor at best. The artist lacks anatomical skills, perspective skills -- the art almost never fills the frame. The splash pages are underwhelming because the figures are so small. Even the parts of the story that are supposed to be "cartoony" (the 5th dimension), which might better fit this artist's abilities, don't work. I really feel this could have been a significantly better product with a different artist.
