• WIND project is an interpretation of the movement of air, and how wind creates beautiful waves in fabrics and water. The sculptures are seemingly free floating, creating eye-catching and constantly changing shadows as a part of the artwork.
• Each original art piece in the WIND project requires dedication and time. First the wood is softly shaped by hand in several rounds to achieve a billowy shape, then treated in several layers. When the artwork is finished, the backside is refined and prepared for the wall hanging device. The hanging device is also hand made with precision to reach optimal balance for the art and to get the desired distance between the art and the wall for a floating feeling. After all of this, a portrait is painted by Josefin, which gives the art piece yet another level of details that changes expression from different views.
