Artists Statement

Elephants are the biggest land mammals on the planet, so you would think they have a pretty good view. But this little elephant has found an even better one, way up high at the top of a ladder! Apart from the amazing view, this elephant is at a major advantage. No poachers can reach it up here. Back down on the ground, about 100 elephants are killed by poachers every day. We must help more and more elephants to reach these new heights to protect them from this world. Only when the poachers are gone will it be safe for the elephants to come back down. For now, she must rely on the help of her friend the bird to let her know when it’s safe to come down.
