There are 108 genuine [8mm] gemstone beads in this strand crafted from:

Black agate, volcanic rock, labradorite, amazonite and carnelian with gold vermeil accents & a handmade black cotton tassel.

Black Agate:  Agates are calming but black agates specifically are for resilience, self control and quiet power.  

Volcanic Rock:  Born from the fiery core of earth, this stone full of raw energy is for power, connecting with the earth, and protection.  These are located at the sides of the strand instead of against your neck just in case you want to soak them in some essential oils. 

Labradorite:  A stone for transformation and strength.  When you feel strong, you're brave!  This gem helps to stimulate inner awareness and open energy centers within your body to help move you to your purpose.  Its flashes of color (i.e.: labradorescence) represent self discovery.

Cording has been upgraded   Instead of the original beading string I use a thick durable nylon cord, secured via multiple square knots that have been glued tight!  However, don't forget that you can send your necklace back to StormMalas to be re-strung if needed :D
