The A12e boasts Taylor’s patented slim-profile neck features a host of player-friendly attributes, including a shorter 24-7/8-inch scale length and a 1-11/16-inch nut width. These specifications, combined with low action and light gauge strings, contribute to a smooth and slinky feel, facilitating easy playing.

The guitar's body is constructed with layered sapele back and sides, paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, striking a balance between durability and tone. The lightweight nature of the guitar is furthered by an ergonomic armrest, making playing with the picking arm more comfortable.
