A 2.5-inch-deep maple body with “ML” bracing resonates beautifully and allows for plenty of booming projection. If you’re a rolled ebony fingerboard fan, this one will surely not disappoint in richness and feel, smooth as can be. It’s also adorned with Pearloid thumbnail inlays, and the “U” shaped maple neck features Luminlay side dots for visibility in the dimmest of stage lighting. Two FT-67 Filter’Tron pickups sing classic sparkly Gretsch tones but are also refined enough to accomplish a wide variety of sounds by adjusting the guitars expansive (yet very user friendly) tone controls. Separate bridge and neck volumes, no-load master volume and tone, and a treble bleed circuit all play their part in making this guitar a Swiss Army Knife of sounds.
