Interested in German History and WWII Era (including shortly before WWII), well then this is a good find. German metal tinnies were very thin and were stamped. All tinies have a pin affixed to the back and some tinnies are stamped with the manufacturer markings. This is a die stamped, steel based and bronze washed Deutsch 1st Die Saar 1934 Tinnie that features shaking hands beneath an eagle and swastika. Hollow back has no maker mark. Has safety type pin and catch. Measures about 38 mm across. Very good condition (little dirty). Great addition to any anybody's collection.

Features of the Pin:

• Condition: Excellent - Previously Owned
• Size approximately 1.5" octagon shape
• Front: Early closed winged eagle a clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, above two shaking hands (one has a chain on his wrist), and a podium which reads: "1934 Des Deutschen Ehreist Die Treue" - says:"Deutsch Ist Die Saar, Des Deutschen Ehreist Die Treue" (German Is The Saar, The German Honorist's Loyalty)
• Back: Hollow back
• Soldered well working tombak pin
