About Clare Young: Clare Youngs trained as a graphic designer, but her creative career has taken lots of twists and turns along the way. She lives in the UK, relocating from London to the beautiful Kent coast where she spends her time illustrating, writing books, running workshops, and creating artworks. A combination of design and illustration is at the heart of Clare's work. Recently she has combined her love of paper craft and illustration and has developed her own style of collage. Each artwork is pieced together from a selection of hand-painted and printed papers, combined to make up a richly colored and textured finish piece. Her artwork is full of character and fun. Clare states “I have been told often that my work makes people smile. That makes me very happy!”
