REAR Disc Brake Caliper and Master Cylinder Assembly - Coleman CK196 and Coleman GK200 Go-Karts

This Chinese rear brake assembly is the replacement part for the Coleman CK196 and GK200 go-karts.   The assembly has the brake master cylinder, caliper, brake line hose and brake fluid reservoir.

Master Cylinder description:

  • Mounting holes on master cylinder are 39mm (1.54 in) center-to-center apart
  • Adjustable length piston with clevis and pin
  • Reservoir mounts on the top
  • Hose to reservoir is about 188mm (7.5 in) long
  • Shipped with brake fluid in reservoir
  • Reservoir has metal reinforced mounting hole on side
  • Fits the Coleman CK196... Does NOT fit the Coleman KT196

Caliper details:

  • Mounting holes are 62mm (2.45 in) center to center apart
  • 8mm*1.25 threaded mounting holes
  • Includes pads 
  • Includes bleeder screw

Hose is approximately 60 inches long.  

SHOP NOTE: After changing the assembly, be sure to see if you need to bleed any air from the brake system to insure the caliper is working effectively.

Fits the Coleman CK196 and GK200 go-kart. 

Fits the Tao Tao Baja Sprinter 200 go-kart.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
