How to Install HP 58X CF258X Toner

  1. Turn on your HP LaserJet printer and make sure it is idle.
  2. Open the front door or toner access cover.
  3. Remove the old black toner cartridge by pulling it straight out.
  4. Remove the new HP 58X CF258X compatible toner cartridge from the packaging.
  5. Hold the cartridge level and gently rock it side to side several times to distribute toner evenly.
  6. Remove all protective seals, pull tabs, orange parts, and packing materials.
  7. Do not touch the chip contact area, toner roller, or imaging surface.
  8. Slide the cartridge firmly into the printer until it is fully seated.
  9. Close the printer cover and allow the printer to initialize.
