DoP Sept 2008, Christchurch Raised on a remote sheep farm in the Mid Canterbury region of New Zealand's South Island, Emily Peters (1858-1927) had a remarkable career as a nurse. In the 1890s she travelled to the United Kingdom to train at Westminster Hospital. She then nursed in England and served as a nurse in the South African War and in Serbia and Egypt during World War I. In this intriguing book, two authors, Joan Woodward and Glenys Mitchell, have linked Emily Peter's surviving papers - among them a fascinating nursing casebook and a vivid war diary - into a narrative account of an extraordinary life of devotion to helping others. The book illuminates the history of nursing in England and New Zealand. It also casts a light on an emerging New Zealand nationhood and on women's emancipation. In Emily Peter's life and writings readers will see New Zealanders of British descent becoming a distinct people with their own national characteristics over a single generation.

Color and fit
Love the suit style. But the color wasn't what I expected. Was to be beige but appear to be more on a light pink. Also the fit was on the small size due to my awkward body size. Seller went beyond to solve my issue by having suit replace with a different color and adjusted size to fit. No questions asked. I was very satisfied.

Great suit, I'm gonna order more!
Bought this suit for a funeral and felt really sheek and unique. The buckle on the wrist and the right side really adds an impeccable fit and makes a sharp statement for anyone slim or chub. Worth the try if even a one time buy!

Nice price and good quality
Size: Large, Color: P1553-navy
I really like the zipper feature on this shirt. It looks sharp on, and is sized accurately. The fabric is comfortable and wrinkle resistant. It is nicely priced for the quality of the shirt. I was well pleased with it.

Perfect for Business Casual
Size: X-Large, Color: P1553-purple
The shirt was a huge hit at my husband’s job. Perfect color in the logo for the company. He immediately asked me where I ordered the shirt from. I suspect his colleagues will be ordering as well.
Shirt quality and comfort are ideal in our July Tennessee weather. He loved the overall fit since it was perfect for his broad shoulders.
