The Grundfos SCALA1 Twin Installation Set is a complete accessory package designed to connect two SCALA1 booster pumps into a fully synchronized twin‑pump system. Ideal for both domestic and light‑commercial water boosting applications, this set enables seamless installation, reliable redundancy, and increased water‑supply performance.
What it does:
The installation set allows you to configure two SCALA1 pumps to operate in either:
- Duty/Standby Mode – One pump runs while the other remains on backup, automatically taking over in the event of a failure to ensure uninterrupted water pressure.
- Duty/Assist Mode – Both pumps work together when higher flow or pressure is needed, intelligently alternating roles to balance wear and extend lifespan.
Easy Setup & Smart Control
Once assembled, configuration is completed through the Grundfos GO Remote app, offering:
- Mode selection (duty/standby or duty/assist)
- Alternation control based on runtime or number of starts
- Real‑time performance monitoring and diagnostics

Not good if you need Whole Foods gift cards
If you want to buy Whole Foods gift cards (which is why I got it) it flags it for fraud and doesnt let you. I was told you can spend at Whole Foods but not buy WF gift cards, even though it is a Prime Credit Card. Also if you buy WF gift cards online, you dont get the rewards since its from a gift card company and not Whole Foods.
