RÉSUMÉ: En l'an 786, alors que les Vikings envahissent l'Angleterre, le roi Harald souhaite pactiser avec les Britanniques. Mais celui-ci est trahi par le baron anglais Rutford, qui convoite le trône d'Angleterre détenu par le roi Lothar et son épouse Alice. Harald est lâchement assassiné, laissant sur les lieux de la bataille ses deux jeunes fils. L'aîné, Iron, est secouru par les Vikings qui le ramènent en Norvège. Le cadet, Erik, est quant à lui recueilli par la reine Alice, qui l'adopte dans le plus grand secret. Vingt ans plus tard, ils sont devenus des hommes entraînés au combat, et le destin ne tardera pas à réunir les deux frères… en tant qu'adversaires.
A PROPOS DU FILM: Un an après Le Masque du démon, Mario Bava signe avec La Ruée des Vikings une fresque épique dans la droite lignée du chef-d’œuvre de Richard Fleischer, Les Vikings. Cameron Mitchell (Six femmes pour l'assassin) et George Ardisson (Un joli corps qu'il faut tuer) incarnent les deux frères ennemis, accompagnés des sœurs jumelles Ellen et Alice Kessler (Les Magiciennes). La Ruée des Vikings est un film d'aventures intense, dans lequel on retrouve tous les ingrédients de la tragédie grecque – un spectacle de haute volée mené d'une main de maître par Mario Bava.

Very Impressive Quality

I don't normally write reviews but my search for a low-cost quality throw for my sofa is finally over, right down to the "dark yellow" color. The quality of this throw is amazing for the price, it's just thick enough and very luxurious looking and feeling. I washed it straight out of the box upon delivery fully expecting an issue so I could return it asap. I used the delicate cycle in cold water, low heat in the drawer and it looks better than when it arrived. I ordered several other throws for $20 or less on Amazon that were too thin or the color was dreadful, but this item was perfect in every way. No shedding so far.

I LOVE THIS BLANKET!!

Just buy it right now because it’s very affordable, high quality, and soooooooo silky soft. Feels similar to a Minky couture blanket, only with longer fuzzies. I got the one sided raspberry pink looking colored throw size and I love it. No regrets, easy to wash, and doesn’t fall apart in washer. I love it and will buy more in the future, highly recommend🩷🩷🩷

Lola look for a fraction of the price

I bought two of these blankets in twin size to protect our leather chairs from our cats' claws, after giving up on finding slip covers that looked good. I draped and pinned the blankets with a single large safety pin, and they pretty much stay put whereas other throws I've tried this with have not. I think it's because they're not too heavy or too light. I do need to adjust them from time to time after people have sat in them. I heard these blankets are a good substitute for the pricey Lola blankets, known for their bubbly texture. I haven't seen a Lola blanket, but these are certainly much less expensive and very nice, so soft and with the same bubbly look. The bubbles are not quite as pronounced as I'd hoped, but I have not tried following the manufacturer's suggestion of fluffing up by tumble-drying on cool with tennis balls. I'm happy with this purchase, and my cats are too.
