This 70th Anniversary Broadcaster is part of a limited run celebrating the original 2 pickup solid body electric guitar that launched Fender into the electric guitar history books in 1950. This recreation of the iconic Broadcaster sports the details and features that made it instantly famous, AND got Fender into hot water with the Fred Gretsch Company. As it turned out, Gretsch already had a trademark on the name "Broadkaster", which forced Leo Fender to remove the name from the instrument the following year. These 70th Anniversary limited release instruments boast the original "Broadcaster" logo, a 2 piece ash body (sorted for light weight, of course), flash coat/no buff nitro lacquer in Nocaster Blonde, single ply black pickguard, and a rift sawn maple neck with the 1950 Blackguard profile.

The Fender Custom Shop added some excellent features to increase playability as well. That rift sawn maple neck gets a compound radius, starting with the traditional 7.25" for your cowboy chords, but flattening to a more modern 9.5" as you travel up. This allows for the rounded fingerboard comfort in first position, but you can still set the action at a reasonable height and bend away in the upper registers without fretting out. Think of your fingerboard as a cone, instead of a cylinder. That's a compound radius.

Pickups are Handwound '50-'51 Blackguard's with the '51 modded "Nocaster" wiring tying them together. This upgrade includes a blender pot and a brighter rhythm pickup setting. In the case is a Fender "Fat 50's" control assembly should you prefer to modernize those controls.

The Fender Custom Shop 70th Anniversary Broadcaster Series is available in 4 finishes, each one progressively more worn in. This instrument is NOS Time Capsule, which simulates that birthday gift Junior never touched, and left under the bed in 1950 until he waltzed into antiques roadshow in 2020. Clean as a whistle, with some mild aging on the metal parts, as would be the case in such an instance.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy to use and produces vibrant prints
This Hiipoo sublimation ink has been a fantastic upgrade for my EcoTank printer. The autofill bottles fit perfectly into the ink tanks - no syringes, no mess, and no wasted ink. Refilling is quick and hassle-free, which makes the whole process so much easier. The print quality is excellent. Colors come out bright, vivid, and crisp with great saturation and no fading. It transfers beautifully onto mugs, T-shirts, and tumblers, drying fast without smudges. I really appreciate that it works ICC-free, yet still delivers professional results. The ink is certified and feels reliable, and I’ve had zero clogging issues. Overall, this is a high-quality, easy-to-use sublimation ink that’s perfect for both hobby projects and small business use. Definitely recommend for anyone doing heat transfer printing.

Only Sublimation Ink for Me!!
I recently bought my second set of Hippo Sublimation Ink and continue to be thrilled with the results. This ink has proven to be a fantastic choice for my sublimation projects, delivering on all fronts. Hippo Sublimation Ink works exactly as promised. It sublimates effortlessly onto poly blend items, producing bright, vivid transfers every time. The colors are striking and true to the design, which is crucial for quality sublimation work. The results are consistently impressive, making this ink a reliable option for any project. One of the standout features is the great price. Hippo Sublimation Ink offers excellent value for money compared to other brands. Despite its affordability, it performs just as well—if not better—than more expensive options on the market. Using Hippo Ink in my Epson printer has been a breeze. The ink flows smoothly and doesn’t clog the printer, even after not being used for two weeks!!! I’ve had issues with other brands clogging my printer, leading to frustration and wasted time, not to mention all the maintenance puts wear and tear on the printer. With Hippo, there’s been no such problem, making it a hassle-free choice for sublimation printing. Hippo Sublimation Ink has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, price, and ease of use. It’s the only ink I will use in my printer from now on. If you’re looking for a high-quality sublimation ink that’s both affordable and reliable, Hippo is an excellent choice. It delivers bright, beautiful transfers and maintains smooth operation without any of the typical issues associated with other brands. Highly recommended!
