Were the '60s ever out of style, they are more than back with the Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20. This Revstar, with an eye specifically fixated on the Café Racer bikes you'd see on the streets of London in the 1960s, assembles with a welcoming set of player-focused features meant to inspire.

The Yamaha Revstar RSS20 is a guitar designed to mash together vintage aesthetic and modern playability into an exciting, new sum. Kicking all this off, we have a chambered mahogany body that assumes an easy double-horned profile and plays with a lightweight, resonant feel – particularly when paired with its maple top for that top-end crispness. Here, a three-piece mahogany neck builds up with a carbon-reinforced design for balance and resonance. The neck's satin finish makes for a smooth feel in the palm while its rosewood fingerboard features twenty-two Jumbo stainless steel frets that enable speedy and comfortable fretting. A fast and flat twelve-inch fingerboard radius facilitates smooth moves from higher to lower registers.

Sonically, the Revstar RSS20 punches in with two Yamaha VH5b humbucker pickups. These humbuckers, designed with Alnico V magnets for an overall crisp and warm kick to cut through the mix and make a statement or two. The pickups are then fitted with master volume and tone controls with a push/pull "Focus Switch" that easily and noticeably shapes their frequency to fit a variety of musical styles. Backing up this voice, a number of sturdy hardware specs land on this model with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece that ground strings solidly for quick stringing and an effective transfer of motion. This Revstar Standard travels with an included Yamaha gig bag.

Matching modern priorities and vintage sensibilities, the Revstar RSS20 gets you off to the races.

It doesn’t stay in
The pipe keeps coming out. Not worth the money. Not sturdy to hold a top table.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly. Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration. Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.

Kinda flimsy…
Thought the assembly was metal, it’s some kind of PVC.

Fantastic for furniture making
Size: 16 x 18 Inch, Size: 16 x 18 Inch
Frankly, I didn't know what to expect... But these turned out to be exactly what I was looking and hoping for. These table legs were so easy to assemble. They come with adjustable feet so you can have a level table no matter your tabletop shape or floor situation. Assembly is done with a simple Allen key. Printed instructions are included with simple diagrams that are so easy to follow. Also, the seller provided all the hardware needed and more! They provided multiple black screws of different sizes that fit through the top holes of the legs, making it so easy to screw the leg base into the table top (use an electric drill with a Philips head for that). I had zero issues with any of the hardware provided. The base has a nice smooth black powder coat application on the metal. Shipping was so quick too. Seriously, if you are looking for a low cost, easy to assemble, good looking, and adjustable end table base, get this. I ended up making plant stands with these using some tree slices I had as you can see in my photo. 10/10 highly recommend.

Made a custom built 24" round resin pour table, and this worked great for the base, looks good too.
