Puukkos, a style of knife originating from Scandinavia, has remained unchanged over the years. With their thick, round wooden handles and Scandi ground blades, they offer precise and controlled cutting without a finger guard. This simplistic design has stood the test of time and is now represented in the Tanimboca Puukko by TOPS Knives. Collaborating with Goran Mihajlovic, originally from Serbia but now residing in Colombia's nature reserve, TOPS has created a version that combines traditional elements with their own style. The blade features a classic Puukko shape with a subtle clip point, while the spine is ground to 90 degrees for scraping tasks. The well-rounded Tan Canvas Micarta handles with red liners honor tradition, and the knife fits snugly in a deep leather sheath. For added versatility, a breakaway chain or paracord can transform it into a neck knife. Once you experience the Tanimboca Puukko, you'll love it.
