RÉSUMÉ: Arletty, jeune Californienne, se rend dans la petite bourgade de Point Dune, au bord de l’océan Pacifique, après avoir reçu une lettre (aux propos étranges) de son père, Joseph Long, qu’elle n’a pas revu depuis longtemps. Lorsqu’elle arrive dans sa demeure, Arletty trouve la maison déserte. Elle s’y installe, puis part à la recherche de son père. Elle constate alors que la ville est en proie à des phénomènes bizarres, et fait la connaissance de Thom, accompagné de ses maîtresses, Laura et Toni. Peu après, en fouillant la maison, Arletty trouve le journal intime de son père. Ce qu’il y raconte est effrayant…
À PROPOS DU FILM: Réalisé par le couple Gloria Katz/Willard Huyck en 1973, Messiah of Evil est un film d’horreur atypique, dans lequel l’irréel et la poésie s’entrechoquent à merveille. Cette poésie macabre, proche du Carnaval des âmes (1962) de Herk Harvey, ou encore du Let’s Scare Jessica to Death (1971) de John Hancock, transporte le spectateur dans un véritable cauchemar éveillé, hanté , entre autres, par Marianna Hill (L’Homme des hautes plaines), Anitra Ford (L’invasion des femmes abeilles) et Elisha Cook Jr. (Electra Glide in Blue).

A Tissue Box That Finally Understands the Assignment

I tested this vintage-style tissue box cover with the same scrutiny I give freeze dryer liners and financial models—and it passed with charm and function.

Love these.

Never thought I'd "love" a tissue box holder but these are very nice. Weighted do the box doesn't move when you pull a tissue out. Bottom is magnetic, and they don't look cheap. Look well made. Highly recommend!

Tissues are necessary sometimes, them funky designs on the boxes aren’t. A discreet way to keep the essentials on hand, and add a touch of class. Sturdy construction. Good rich color. Very easy to refill or remove.size fits Kleenex box perfectly. And the material feels lush.

Nice box but, needs tissue springs.
Color: Brown
These boxes are well made and elegant. I like the magnetic closure and the rear-filled design. The only thing is that you'll want to use some tissue dispenser springs underneath once the tissue is half gone so that the popup feed continues working. Putting springs in when fully loaded cannot be done because pulling out a tissue will rip them.
