The Chevrolet Trail Boss and GMC AT4 both have a factory 2" lift compared to other GM 1500 trucks of the same year model. Fabtech's suspension system for these two trucks provide a 4" lift height on top of the factory 2" lift for clearance of 35" tall tires. Once a Trail Boss or AT4 is lifted with a Fabtech 4" system, the truck will sit the same height as a 1500 with a 6" suspension and 35" tires. Fabtech's suspension design for the Trail Boss and AT4 provides excellent drive ability both on and offroad. There is zero bump steer throughout the suspension cycle that helps reduce drive fatigue while improving the overall drive ability of the vehicle. The near stock track width keeps the tires under the fenders for a clean appearance. Fabtech's proprietary steering knuckle geometry provides excellent lock to lock turning radius to maneuver in tight spots. Heavy duty 1/4" thick steel crossmembers feature OE style alignment cam pins that utilize the factory cams for easy adjustment. Triple front diff mounts reposition the differential for vibration free operation at high speed. The factory Trail Boss and AT4 coilover shocks are retained and relocated from the bottom to allow for full steer while achieving 4" of lift. Rear lift is accomplished by removing the factory 2" block and replacing it with a 5" block and u-bolt system. Fabtech has addressed all aspects of the Trail Boss suspension for proper wheel travel and lock to lock steering without over cycling. Short Review:
It’s affordable and dark-skin friendly! A rich moisturizing lotion texture, lightly fragranced, with no white cast. If you have oily skin, you don't even need to moisturize beforehand, just skip straight to this sunscreen after cleansing. (Probably wouldn't be the same for people with dry skin). It’s at first tacky but it dries down to a smooth finish. Though this does have a shine to it that leaves your skin with a healthy dewy glow, if you have super oily skin like me, do follow up with a powder. If not after a couple of hours you’ll go from glowy to a grease soaked donut.
The Story:
I was shocked that the bottle was tiny/the size of my hand (funny when I’ve been through this shock at least a hundred times when trying sunscreens from Korean and Japanese brands) but rest assured, it does do its job (at least for me) and is affordable.
I’ve struggled with finding a decent sunscreen for a good year now. I’ve tried Neutrogena Clear Face (baaad breakout), Biore Aqua Rich (breakout), Nieva UV Super Water Gel (breakout), Frudiva (okay no breakouts but heavily scented, thick lotion, and left me super shiny), Hada Labo (beautiful lightweight texture but made me break out)—basically the struggle was real. Until I landed on Australian Gold tinted sunscreen. That stuff is magic, keeps me matte, and makes my skin look better but the darkest shade has a gray undertone so I have to follow it up with bronzer.
This sunscreen is perfect for when I don’t want to deal with the hassle of wearing my tinted sunscreen, am going out to run a quick errand, or when I’m staying indoors the entire day. The pump is super useful, especially if you do the two finger method application method. It comes out a yellowish color but once you rub it in, it easily disappears into the skin. At first, it feels tacky, almost as if you’ve applied a serum, but within 1-3 minutes it dries down to a smooth finish. It does leave a shine but nothing that a sebum or setting powder can’t handle for 4-5 hours. The big pointer is that so far no breakouts but I’ve been using this only for two days so I’ll update this if I see any changes in my skin.
I’m super glad I found this affordable option! I was looking at Elta MD (heard it piles, especially with makeup so I held back) and La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light but luckily I decided to peak at the more affordable spectrum of sunscreen. As of now, this sunscreen is a keeper. Let’s see how it stands after a week!

I absolutely love this sunscreen! It’s lightweight, not greasy, and blends perfectly into my skin without leaving any white cast. It keeps my skin protected and glowing all day, even in the hot sun. I’ve noticed my face feels softer and more hydrated since I started using it. Definitely one of my must-haves I’ll keep buying this one for sure!
