1960年代スフィンクスのイヤリング。ブラックのオーバルカボションに、ゴールドメタルのリーフモチーフとクリアラインストーンがあしらわれています。クラシカルで端正なデザインとブラック×ゴールドの洗練された配色が、横顔に気品を添えてくれます。程よいサイズ感で、日常使いからフォーマルまで幅広く着けていただけるお品。

1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
