- Completely new mold
- This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Ascona 400 Gr.4, which was active in rallies from 1980 to 1983.
- The body is a one-piece reproduction of the style equipped with wide over fenders, rear spoiler, front skirt, etc. unique to Group 4 machines.
- The cockpit is accurately modeled using separate parts, including the rally-equipped meters on the dashboard and the footrest on the floor.
- The suspension and other mechanisms on the underside of the chassis are also reproduced in detail, conveying the Spartan driving style of a rally car.
- The markings reproduce the car number 2, Walter Rohrl's car, which won the Monte Carlo Rally, held from January 16th to 22nd, 1982, as the opening round of the 1982 WRC.
- In addition to basic plastic parts, the set also includes photo-etched detail parts, seat belt material, and a masking sheet that is convenient for painting the window frames.
