Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits Stihl trimmers equipped with the C3-2 trimmer head.
- Compatible Models: Stihl FSE 52, Stihl FSA 57.
- Important Note for FSA 57: This spool is only compatible with FSA 57 trimmers with a serial number beginning with 5 (e.g., 5XXXXXXXX). Please verify your serial number before purchasing.
When to Replace
- Trimmer line is fully depleted from the existing spool.
- The spool is cracked, warped, or will not unwind smoothly.
- Line feeding becomes inconsistent or frequently jams.
Installation Tips
- Always disconnect the power source (remove battery) before handling the trimmer head.
- Depress the two tabs on the side of the trimmer head to remove the cap.
- Remove the old spool and any debris from the housing.
- Insert the new spool, aligning it correctly within the housing.
- Thread the line ends through the eyelets on the trimmer head.
- Reinstall the cap, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

Defected Item
I bought two pair of these slippers, one for each of my children. One of the slippers on the smaller pair is defected, but alas we are past the return period. I just hate that we spent a good amount of money for what should be a quality product and it is defected. I hate for her to continue to wear them and possibly injure her foot due to the way the shoe leans.
