The Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50 houses two completely independent footswitchable channels, each featuring three distinct modes: Clean, Drive, and HI. Every mode is channel-cloned, meaning both channels share the same tonal characteristics, granting you incredible versatility. Each channel is individually controlled, with knobs for Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, Reverb, and Master Controls, ensuring maximum customization for your sound.
The Fillmore 50 is home to an all-tube, long-tank, spring reverb with independent channel controls. This provides your sound with a depth and warmth that's hard to replicate with even the best digital means. In addition, it features Mesa's exclusive Dyna-Watt technology, an innovative Class A/B power amp design with a global Full/Half power switch. Choose between operating in Class A/B Triode mode for rich harmonics and a smooth, fluid feel at lower volumes (20W clean/28W max), or in Class A/B Pentode mode for maximum power, punch, and clarity (40W clean/60W max).
Built with precision and high-quality components, the Fillmore 50 uses 5 Mesa 12AX7 tubes in the preamp stage, ensuring excellent tonal shaping. Meanwhile, the power amp section is driven by 2 Mesa 6L6 tubes, providing the robust power and characteristic warmth you'd expect from a tube amp.
