Starting out, the S2 McCarty 594 Thinline plays similarly to its non-thinline brethren. Beginning with a thin, all-mahogany body, the 594 Thinline harnesses all the sonic goodness and acoustic resonance of the tonewood to make itself known. The thinline body design adds an extra ergonomic element to the guitar, alongside its classic PRS asymmetric bevel top carve. When added to its scarfed mahogany neck in a PRS Pattern Thin profile, this guitar comes together in hand smoothly. The set mahogany is matched with a twenty-two-fret rosewood fingerboard with faux bone binding that tops off both a streamlined playing and distinct aesthetic experience.
