The increased caster helps to balance steering effort with oversized tires. The top quality construction of these arms includes .120 in. wall 1.25 in. OD 4130 Chromoly tubing steel tubing. This is superior to the stock plastic arms. Yes, the stock arms are plastic. Fabtech arms will add rigidity and strength to the Ram suspension. High quality 1 in. FK Stainless PTFE lined Uniball bearings are utilized in place of the small factory ball joints and allow for increased travel without bind. These super stout Ram upper control arms are designed for strength in offroad conditions while providing a more positive on road feel. These heavy duty arms attach to the frame with quality urethane bushings. This helps reduce road noise with less deflection than stock rubber resulting in a more positive road feel. Perfect tuxedo to use for many functions. Got it about 2 years ago and have used it probably twice for galas as well as awards programs. Fits to size and didn’t break the bank. Texture is good and it is easy to pair with anything as well as is reusable.
