The Blackstar Amplification AMPED 1 is a 100-watt amp pedal built on countless hours of research and development to accomplish two main goals. Goal #1 was to build a true 100W pedal based guitar amplifier that accurately recreated the sound AND feel of multiple tube amplifier configurations. Goal #2 was to ensure that AMPED 1 would be top of industry for pairing with amp modelers, profilers, preamp pedals, DAW’s etc. Blackstar AMPED 1 comes with Cab Rig software which allows you to connect the pedal to your computer to adjust a myriad of elements in the presets including the speaker, cabinet, microphone, and room emulation. Combined with Blackstar’s Architect software you can control settings for the built-in reverb, the effects loop, and more. The end result is an extremely adjustable floorboard amp simulator that uses the latest technology to ensure a 360° tube amp experience in the convenience of a lightweight pedal.
The 100-watt amplifier can be dialed back to 20W and even 1W for versatile control over your headroom. Response control allows seamless recreation of various power tube configurations including KT88, EL34, EL84, 6L6, and 6V6. The linear selection allows you to sense a completely transparent, flat signal to a paired amp modeler. Scroll through presets via the footswitch on the right, while the footswitch on the left controls an onboard reverb with built in freeze functionality.
