Compatibility & Fitment
- Designed for continuous duty in single-phase AC motor run applications.
- Used in air conditioners, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and fan motors.
- The physical dimensions must match the mounting bracket of the existing equipment.
When to Replace
- Motor hums but does not start.
- Motor starts or runs slowly.
- Fan blades require a manual push to start spinning.
- Visible signs of damage, such as a bulging top, cracks, or fluid leaks.
- Capacitance measures outside the ±5% tolerance when tested with a multimeter.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect all electrical power to the appliance before installation.
- Safely discharge the old capacitor by shorting the terminals with a resistor or insulated screwdriver.
- Ensure the new capacitor's uF (MFD) rating matches the original specification exactly.
- Using a capacitor with an equal or higher VAC rating is acceptable. Do not use one with a lower VAC rating.
- Note the wire placement on the old capacitor's terminals before disconnecting.

Great for busy feet

My five-year-old daughter loves these Skechers slip-ins—and she is not easy on her shoes! You can see in the photo, she’s already put plenty of miles on them. They’ve been through the washing machine at least twice and still look great—the bright colors are a big hit with her and they hold up well in the wash.
One of the elastic bands on top did come loose, but I was able to fix it quickly with a dab of superglue. She slips them on and off all by herself, which is perfect as we’re still learning to tie laces. All in all, a great purchase for the price—especially since kids grow so fast and put their shoes through a lot!
