1970年代頃のSPHINXのバードモチーフブローチ。

木にとまって休む鳥がネイビーとオレンジの艶やかなエナメルで彩られ、ボディや尾にはクリアストーン、瞳にはブラックストーンがセットされています。

鮮やかで上品な色使いとエレガントなシルエットで、思わず視線を惹きつけられる愛らしくも美しいお品。

身に纏えば、コーディネートに洗練された華やぎを添えてくれます。帽子、ニットやコートなど様々な場所に着けられるサイズ感も魅力です。

1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
