Saint-Pierre draws from early-2000s vines at 400 meters on south-facing slopes over deeply weathered, biotite-rich granite with schistose fabric — a site considered too cold to plant until 2000, ripening two to three weeks after other Cornas parcels. Whole-cluster fermentation at 40–100% and 16–20 months in used barrels shape a wine of black olive, smoked meat, dark plum, and crushed stone with bright acidity and structured tannins that reward extended decanting.Shipping Notes

Nice Coat Not So Great Packaging

Nice coat but packaging needs to be improved. It arrived not properly folded and as a result it was completely wrinkled. Took some work to iron so it looked as advertised. Packaging for such things has to be reviewed.
