1970年代のSPHINXのリーフモチーフブローチ。

艶やかな光沢を放つゴールドトーンメタルで、一枚の葉がダイナミックに表現されています。

葉脈の部分は、複雑なオープンワーク。自然の情景を思わせる有機的な曲線がユニークで、一目で視線を引きつけられる印象的なデザインです。芸術品のような美しさがあるお品。 

重みや暖かみのある秋のファッションと相性が良く、装いを気品ある存在感で飾ってくれます。時代や流行に左右されることなく、永く愛用していただけるブローチです。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
