The grain on this spindle is long and straight. The color is a deep red brown, with a beautiful chatoyance. The wood is 8 to 10% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks or other flaws. We've cut multiple of this size of spindle, so the piece you receive will not be exactly the one pictured. It will be its equivalent in quality. |

Light but average

Three stars. These are very lightweight and seem fine for the price, but the leather felt a bit too thin for what I was looking for. I didn’t even end up trying them on because they just didn’t feel like they would hold up long term.
They’re not bad if you need something inexpensive for occasional wear, but I wanted something that would last. It felt like they might scratch easily, so I decided to return these and go with a more expensive option instead.
