Designed in collaboration with international rider Lillie Keenan, whose career began with remarkable success in the American Equitation and Hunter rings, the Lillie Keenan Signature Hunter Shadbelly is a refined interpretation of the classical hunter tailcoat.

In the hunter ring, elegance lies in the details. The balance of the shoulder, the length of the body and the quiet authority of the silhouette all contribute to the overall picture. This shadbelly has been carefully developed to create a long, beautifully proportioned line suited to the Derby field and championship medal classes.

The traditional three-row button front is preserved, while the pattern has been subtly refined to ensure freedom of movement over fences and a composed silhouette in the saddle.

A Made-to-Order Commission

Because no two riders are the same, the Lillie Keenan Hunter Shadbelly is produced exclusively as a made-to-order commission.

Each garment is individually cut for the rider, ensuring the balance, proportion and elegance required for the hunter ring.

3D Body Scanning
Where available, our 3D body scanning technology can be used to map the rider’s proportions and assist in achieving an exceptionally precise fit.

The Design Studio
Riders may choose from a curated selection of fine British and Italian wools - natural, breathable fabrics woven in beautifully lightweight cloths - along with a range of traditional points, linings and finishing details.

Tailoring Guidance
Our team will guide you through the measurement and design process to ensure the finished garment provides the effortless elegance required for the championship ring.

Investment & Timeline

Deposit
A small deposit is taken at the time of commission to secure your place in our production schedule. Simply choose your approximate size, colour and cloth. 

Balance
The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the garment.

Production Time
Approximately 5–6 weeks.
