Board Tiers:
SCOTCH: This block is made mainly from the exotic Wenge hardwood, with the end grain version of the block having Hard Maple for the lettering, Bloodwood for the flame, and White Oak for the whiskey barrel. This is the block that you see featured in all of the Woodfire + Whiskey videos.
BOURBON: This block is made mainly from Walnut hardwood, with the end grain version of this block having Hard Maple for the lettering, Bloodwood for the flame, and White Oak for the whiskey barrel.
RYE: This block is made mainly from Hard Maple hardwood, with the end grain version of the block having Walnut for the lettering, Padauk for the flame, and Walnut for the whiskey barrel.
Grain Construction:
Edge Grain - Long, running grains. Great for everyday light to medium use. All Edge Grain Woodfire+Whiskey blocks will come with an epoxy inlay for the logo
End Grain - Blocky/checker pattern. Self-healing, more resistant to knife marks and easy on your knives. Great for chefs and serious grillers, as it can withstand heavy duty carving and chopping.
All End Grain Woodfire+Whiskey blocks will come with a wood inlay for the logo.
Personalization
Personalize your block in a variety of ways, including with your logo, signature, name, initials, or one of our designs. Image for logos, family crests, brandings, etc. may be uploaded, but not necessary. Blocks with personalization will receive a digital mockup for approval before carving. Text personalization will receive several font options to choose from.
