The Fender Vintera II '60s Stratocaster is built upon the timeless design of early '60s pre-CBS Strats. Made in Ensenada, Mexico, this new Vintera Strat is made to be played, ideal for the player who loves vintage Fender.
This model, finished in classic Olympic White, showcases the Slab Rosewood fingerboard option. Gone are the Pau Ferro boards of Vinteras past. While Pau Ferro is an incredibly strong and sustainable tonewood, when it comes to 1960s Fender, it's likely to envision a Rosewood fingerboard, and the Vintera II '60s Strat delivers.
Other key features of the Vintera II '60s Stratocaster include an Alder body, Maple neck with '60s "C" profile, 7.25" fingerboard radius, 21 Vintage Tall frets, Fender vintage-style tuners, a Gloss Urethane neck finish, and white dot inlays.
The Vintera II '60s Strat is factory loaded with a trio of Vintage-Style '60s Single-Coil Strat pickups. Tone 1 is assigned to the Neck and Middle position pickups, while Tone 2 is independent to the Bridge pickup. For convenience and safety, Fender includes a Deluxe Gig Bag with this and all Vintera II Guitars.
