The front panel offers Gain and Master controls, a three-band EQ with Ultra Lo and Ultra Hi switches, and a five-position Midrange Frequency selector for detailed tone shaping. An onboard variable compressor tightens the low end and smooths peaks without sacrificing dynamics. A dual-function LED provides instant visual feedback on signal clipping and mute status.

Connectivity is comprehensive. The PF-500 includes a balanced XLR line out with pre/post EQ switching, ground lift, and a –40 dB (mic/line level) pad, making it equally at home in DI applications.
