The process begins with the hand-selection of alpaca yarns, chosen for their softness and natural luster. The artisans wrap the alpaca yarns around a large spinning wooden frame to map out each throw’s intricate design, ensuring perfect color placement and pattern balance. Once prepared, the weavers skillfully work the loom—using practiced strength and precision to achieve a refined, tightly woven textile that embodies warmth and luxury.

After weaving, the throw is brushed by hand with a native teasel plant, a centuries-old technique that gives the alpaca fibers their signature silky texture and luminous sheen.
