This is another very nice, smaller rectangular block of Bodark that, among other uses, would be suitable for the head of a small mallet. The wood is basically the bright golden yellow of fresh cut Bodark heartwood. (Note the color of both photos is off. I am still struggling with a new camera and poor lighting!)I see no cracks, checks or other flaws.
