GubsIn Gubs you will be competing with your friends to build up the biggest colony of the mysterious creatures known as Gubs. But it's not enough to simply play the most Gub cards. You also have to protect your Gubs from attempts to capture or trap them by other players. Luckily you can build mushroom barricades to protect your colony. The bravest of your Gubs can even become toad riders to prevent attacks. However, unprotected Gubs are still fair game

In Gubs you will be competing with your friends to build up the biggest colony of the mysterious creatures known as Gubs. But it's not enough to simply play the most Gub cards. You also have to protect your Gubs from attempts to capture or trap them by other players. Luckily you can build mushroom barricades to protect your colony. The bravest of your Gubs can even become toad riders to prevent attacks. However, unprotected Gubs are still fair game and can be lured away by shiny gems or they can be trapped in a soap spout. There are cards which will help you free your own Gubs and in turn trap or steal another players. Players should not forget though, that certain events can happen out of everyone's control. These can damage all of the Gubs colonies so players need to be prepared.On your turn you draw a card and then decide whether you want to play a card. With a maximum hand size of eight cards, you can even decide not to play a card for several turns in a row if you are looking for the perfect combination. There are some ways to stop combos so they are not too overpowered, but you can have a lot of fun trying to chain the cards together.The game end is random and can vary between games. At the start of the game each of the letter cards (G, U and B) are shuffled into a different third of the deck. The game ends when the third letter card has been drawn. Whoever has the most free and protected Gubs in front of them when this happens, wins.Players: 2 - 6Time: 20 minutesAge: 10+
