Today's JV Modified series comes together to celebrate the style and sound of Telecasters and Stratocasters from a distinctly unique point in Fender history.

The JV Modified '60s Custom Telecaster features a double-bound basswood body shaped in the iconic single-cutaway Tele shape. The basswood body is paired with a maple neck in a Soft "V"-shape with a satin finish. A rosewood fingerboard with Medium Jumbo frets make reaching higher and lower registers seamless for strumming chords or picking leads. Vintage-voiced single-coil Telecaster pickups are fashioned with a four-way selector switch that can engage either pickup individually or both at the same time in series or parallel wiring configurations. A push/pull tone control offers out-of-phase sounds for the Tele to expand on the Telecaster single-coil spectrum.
