Poolife Stain Stop (1 qt)

For best results, add the required amount of Poolife Stain Stop when filling your swimming pool with fresh water or when opening swimming pool with clean water. If the surface is black plaster, add it after the pool is full.

After Poolife Stain Stop has been added and the pool filled, filter and circulate the water for at least 12 hours before adding chlorine or other pool chemicals. This will allow it to react with and prevent the precipitation of mineral in fresh water. When Poolife Stain Stop is added to a pool that is already filled and in use, chlorine and other pool chemicals may be added immediately. This product is compatible with chlorine, bromine, salt water, ozone, and mineral sanitizers.

Initial Treatment:

Add 16 fl oz for every 10,000 gallons of water with normal hardness and mineral content. If the water is extremely hard (over 200 ppm or has high iron, copper or manganese content (over 0.1 ppm) double the the initial dosage to 32 fl oz for every 10,000 gallons.

Maintenance:

Add 4 fl oz for every 10,000 gallons of pool water weekly as part of your maintenance program.
