Madrone Block Md89 3" x 3" x 9.5" 2.5 lbs. This is a hefty block of Pacific Madrone (Arbutus). It has light peach color with darker peach undertones. Madrona tends to have a lot of color variation throughout, and we think you will be very pleased with this piece. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried blank, meaning that it retains moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It was measured at 15% moisture content in December 2023. Madrona has a lot of internal stress within the grain, thanks to it's twisted and growth habit. It is common for fine cracks to open as these blanks dry, despite being sealed. If you do have a visible crack, fill it with CA glue or epoxy resin prior to turning. |

Perfect, it fits like a glove.

I really liked the sleeve, the navy blue color looks very elegant and the material feels resistant but soft to the touch. What I like the most is that the back is translucent, so you still see the design of the tablet.
It works great for watching videos because it stands firm when folding it, and turning off the screen alone when closing it is very practical. Because of the price it has, the quality is excellent.
