Uncover the intricate layers of anti-Semitism with 'Excluding the Jew Within Us,' a compelling exploration by Jean-Luc Nancy. This brand new book, published by John Wiley & Sons in 2020, dives deep into the historical roots of anti-Semitism, examining how this deeply ingrained prejudice permeates our societies and institutions. With 60 insightful pages, Nancy elucidates the conflict between Greek and Jewish responses to humanity's evolution beyond myth. These two schools of thought have fostered a complex tension that gives birth to the long-standing hatred of the Jew, which often masks a profound self-loathing. Ideal for scholars, students, and anyone interested in understanding the philosophical underpinnings of anti-Semitism, this book makes a vital contribution to contemporary discussions. Purchase this thought-provoking read today and engage with the foundational ideas that shape our understanding of autonomy and exclusion within Western thought.Note: Shipping for this item is free. Description:
Why does anti-Semitism seem to be so deeply engrained in our societies, our institutions and our attitudes? To answer this question we need to look beyond our current practices and see that anti-Semitism has much deeper roots “ that it is woven into the very structures of Western thought. Jean-Luc Nancy argues that anti-Semitism emerged from the conflictual conjunction of two responses to the eclipse of archaic cultures The Greek and the Jewish responses both affirmed a humanity freed from myth but put forward two very different conceptions of autonomy: on the one hand, the infinite autonomy of knowledge, of logos, and on the other, the paradoxical autonomy of a heteronomy guided by a hidden god The first excluded the second while simultaneously absorbing and dominating it; the second withdrew into itself and its condition of exclusion and domination How could the long and terrible history of the hatred of the Jew, masking a self-loathing, be generated by these intrinsically contradictory beginnings? That is the question to which this short book gives a compelling answer.

Good product for face.
Great product. Works well with decreasing lines in face after half is used and with the serum. It does leave somewhat of a sticky (not grimy) texture which is uncomfortable if using at night.

Loose under eye skin tightened and brightened!
I love this cream! It makes a huge difference in the strength of the skin under my eyes and smooths the look and feel of the wrinkled skin under my eyes. It brightens my under eye circles. I gave 4 stars because if you use too much it will start to roll off almost like skin does when it sheds or when you exfoliate. I use less now and it’s perfect.

Working on Deep Wrinkles Great Results
I really like this product, it’s been working well on deeper wrinkles, especially on my forehead and around my smile lines. With consistent use, I can see a noticeable improvement in how my skin looks.
The texture feels hydrating and smooth, and it absorbs nicely without feeling heavy. It leaves my skin feeling softer and more refreshed after each use.
I also like that it helps with overall skin appearance, making it look more even and a bit more radiant.
Minor note: Results take consistency, so it’s best to use it regularly to see the full effect.
Overall, this is a great product for targeting fine lines and deeper wrinkles. Hydrating, easy to use, and delivers visible improvements over time.

Didn’t live up to the hype.
I had high hopes for this product. I’ve seen it all over social, but for me it didn’t live up to the hype. Although it is very moisturizing, it never dries down. There’s no way I could apply makeup over this, as the ads might lead you to believe. If you want a good night time moisturizer then this product is for you.

No Good
So I got this under the impression by the videos online that this was really concealing under the eye and it’s not…very oily and hasn’t done anything for under my eyes at all! Scam!
