Silver Maple Block SM-241 2" x 2" x 10.7"Silver Maple Block SM 241 2" x 2" x 10. 7" 1 lbs. This is an attractive spindle of Texas grown Silver Maple. It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even grain texture. There are faint brown stripes through the wood and occasional small knots. Most of the knots are 1 4" across or less. The grain runs long and more or less straight, parallel to the long axis of each spindle. This wood has been fully air dried to 10 12% moisture

Worth the Money

I bought this thinking, "Will it really work the way it shows?". The answer is yes. Put it on the can, press the button, and then it does its thing hands off. It does leave a smooth edge too. Not too speedy, but better than having to fight with your manual to get it to catch the edge.
