The Burny RLC-50JS is one of those guitars that proves why Japanese domestic market models have such a loyal following. Inspired by the legendary John Sykes Les Paul Custom, this model captures the look and attitude of the famous Black Beauty-inspired guitars associated with Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake, complete with chrome hardware and the distinctive mirror pickguard.

This example was originally sold on the Japanese domestic market and imported into our Japan select range to the UK from Tokyo. Built in 2008, it features a maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, delivering the classic Les Paul recipe with plenty of sustain, warmth and punch.

Condition is good overall and it plays exactly as it should. There are numerous light surface scratches, swirls and signs of use throughout the gloss finish, particularly visible under direct lighting. The most notable cosmetic wear is to the corners of the headstock where there are paint chips and lacquer loss that exposes the wood. These are purely cosmetic and are not structural repairs or breaks. The guitar has been fully checked, restrung and set up and is ready to go.

At 7lb 13oz this is also noticeably lighter than many Les Paul-style guitars, making it a comfortable instrument for longer playing sessions.

Good used condition. Light scratches, swirls and play wear throughout. Cosmetic paint loss to the headstock as pictured. No structural damage. Frets are in good playable condition and the guitar has been professionally checked and set up with fresh strings.
