VB-VS Hand brake ConversionProduct Code: VBAxleConversion Here at Harrop, we can offer you the ability to add VT VZ Brakes to a earlier model Commodore via a Backing plate modification. To be able to convert the rear brakes to VT VZ style on your VB VS (live axle only) you will need to send in your factory hand brake backing plate as we do a modification which adds the correct caliper mounting points. We also change the hand brake shoes to a larger diameter, which is required
Here at Harrop, we can offer you the ability to add VT-VZ Brakes to a earlier model Commodore via a Backing plate modification.
To be able to convert the rear brakes to VT-VZ style on your VB-VS (live axle only) you will need to send in your factory hand brake backing plate as we do a modification which adds the correct caliper mounting points. We also change the hand brake shoes to a larger diameter, which is required to suit VT-VZ Commodore rear brakes. (Handbrake shoes are supplied inclusive of the price listed)
Once this modification has been done you will then be able to mount any of our VT-VZ brake systems to your car, you may require other items to complete the conversion such as brake lines and master/booster, although this is not part of our conversion and parts, you will need to source these parts separately.
Please note the price of the rear backing plate conversion does not include the cost of the freight to/from us.
This will allow you to choose from our range of Harrop brake kits to suit VT-VZ.
