The Pouilly-Fuissé from Esprit Leflaive is a masterclass in Chardonnay, with grapes sourced from two plots in Chaintré, planted in 1951. The clay-limestone soil imparts a rich, mineral flavor profile, while the careful ageing process - 1 year in oak barrels (15% new) and 6 months in stainless steel vats - adds a subtle complexity.
